Super Qix is somewhat a sequel to the original Qix game by Taito. This one was made by Kaneko in 1987.

- The US version replaces the gremlin with a samurai head instead. Most notably, you start with the dragon instead of the castle.
- Super Qix was one of Kaneko's titles to be in Taito Legends for PS2.
